I have been part of the hairdressing industry for over 40 years, and during that time I’ve had the pleasure of working through countless trends, styles and beautiful transformations.
My career has been wonderfully varied, from managing a large team of stylists and working as an Artistic Director on hair and fashion shows, to being a Colour Technician for Wella. I have also taught hairdressing in schools and worked within assessing and quality assurance, sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of stylists.
In 2014, I decided to focus on the area of hairdressing I am most passionate about — creating beautiful, elegant hairstyles for weddings and special occasions.
I truly believe I have the best job. There is something incredibly special about being part of a bride’s wedding morning — helping her feel relaxed, confident and completely herself as she prepares for one of the most memorable days of her life.
For me, bridal hair is about so much more than creating a beautiful style. It’s about listening, understanding the overall vision for the day, and creating a look that feels effortlessly elegant, timeless and uniquely you.
Every bride, every wedding and every venue is different, which is one of the things I love most about what I do. I feel incredibly fortunate to visit some stunning locations, meet wonderful people and play a small part in so many unforgettable celebrations.
